I said I was going to read John Adams, Wonder and Kick last week. I didn't crack open John Adams once, but I read the other two and several other children's books. Wonder was my favorite, and I wrote a blog post about it here. I've reviewed the others on GoodReads.
Here are the books I've read this week including my star ratings.
Books to read this week:
I've been wanting to read Creating Innovators, and it just came to my library on interlibrary loan from Kansas City.
I'm listening to Robinson Crusoe in the car these days, and I'll be driving to a conference, so I should be able to finish that one.
John Adams? I'm not sure about that one again!

ReplyDeleteYou have been on a reading spree, Creating Innovators sounds interesting, I guess that will tie in with genius hour?
I won't get much or any reading done this week if I keep going the way I am! I woke after 3 hours sleep last night then couldn't get back to sleep. Very fuzzy in my thinking today!
My class enjoyed the farting nurse in Wonder this morning!
Happy reading
Kathryn
Kathryn,
ReplyDeleteI hope you sleep well tonight! That is crazy. You can't do it on 3 hours sleep, can you?
Yes, Creating Innovators will be a great genius hour book! (Most of the books I read this week are picture books, which took a few minutes each. Next week, if I could get through Wagner's book, I'd be happy!)
Thanks for stopping by!
Denise
I've got a couple of "easy-does-it-summer-reading" books going right now. One is the second in the "Women's Murder Club" series by James Patterson (listening to it on my iPod), and the other is "The Wedding" by Nicholas Sparks. Nothing too heavy. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
